Would you support a new stadium?
« Thread Started on Feb 20, 2003, 6:18pm »

Apparently three possible locations of a Baseball stadium have become public knowledge: "a Rosslyn location on the banks of the Potomac River overlooking the Washington monuments, on land occupied by a Costco warehouse store, or on nearby property close to the popular Pentagon City shopping mall". (the last two sites are under review by the County as possible locations for a Convention Center). The Civic Federation and County Board have publicly opposed a Professional Baseball Stadium in Arlington. The VA Baseball Stadium Authority has not provided any information required to make an informed decision. I would love to see a Baseball Stadium in Arlington. Assuming the economics made sense, and the infrastructure issues are properly addressed ... Would you support a Baseball Stadium in Arlington? or are you opposed?
